A little human being of vast communities.

Little good deeds and little bad deeds I plant in my communities every day and every night as a small human being of vast communities.

As a cave dweller… community to me is multidimensional. There is the community in my cave of course. Here there is a book community of friendly authors; some dead and some are lining. There is the oracle of communication here too of films and cartoons. The computer community is vast and multidimensional in itself; friends, events and conversation galore. As the community changes, by way of my focus upon it, so does my personal persona change!
I can be a mother, an artist or a punk rock personality; I can be an esoteric knowledge student or a religious studies person that studies the religiosity of the world.  Where culture and communities and belonging vibrate with the need to be known and befriended instead of made war upon.
Surrounded by a garden and nature community, which I know well, is the delight of knowing there are no pesticides here.
The lucid movement of a small feline population is known to surround me while I sleep at night on the living room couch.
There are the friendly neighbors that walk by and when I walk late at night I know that gravity is the only thing holding me back from the community of the vast Milky Way.
There is the beer and the pub and the vastly disappearing live music community of underground rock & roll.
There is the secular community of family and schools that I orbit around now and then too.
My hidden community within is vast and mysterious; it is always reflecting waves of intuition and projecting my strengths and seeing the rolling back foamy knowing of how vulnerable we all seem to be.

Author: Hudley Flipside

Welcome to Hudley Flipside’s “The Seminary Of Praying Mantis Publishing.” Praying mantis shows me her story of life, death, and rebirth. For me she is an image or symbol of the divine in all things. I watch the praying mantis in my garden and have taken her image as my logo. She is an amazing little creature, and I relate to her connection to nature. We are both wild and part of this strange world. She is a part of my mythology as I am part of hers.
