Age a Gift to us…

“In the creative process. Maintain your artistic tenacity and courage despite any criticism or disapproval, or influence of social prejudices or market pressures.”~ The William Blake Tarot Cards.

My aged mind and heart reflect: Watch, pay attention, reception… leave space for information to enter your mind… wild old woman…give away what you learned from life…digested experience is wisdom.

Age is a gift to me. As my mom told me once, “Holly, I Look in the mirror and I see an old woman but I feel as young as ever on the inside.” Now I understand what she meant.

Oldest son is busy these days. His time is valuable. Yet when he was a child I remember every December 1st was the day that we put up holiday decorations. It was an event of thrill and joy. Now he has only a short time to talk and off he goes. I would not have it any other way.  My twenties were very busy as well !

We are now living in an age of hostile takeover by a very conservative group of powerful people. I think of the 1920s throughout the 1930s. Prohibition, gangsters and the great wall street crash of 1929.

The shadow is let loose… release the Kraken.

“You are fettered,” said Scrooge, trembling. “Tell me why?”
“I wear the chain I forged in life,” replied the Ghost. “I made it link by link, and yard by yard; I girded it on of my own free will, and of my own free will I wore it.”
