“You are fettered,” said Scrooge, trembling. “Tell me why?”
“I wear the chain I forged in life,” replied the Ghost. “I made it link by link, and yard by yard; I girded it on of my own free will, and of my own free will I wore it.”
~ Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol
Some Like It Hot (1959), Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon

My aged mind and heart reflect: Watch, pay attention, reception… leave space for information to enter your mind… wild old woman…give away what you learned from life…digested experience is wisdom.
Age is a gift to me. As my mom told me once,
“Holly, I Look in the mirror and I see an old woman but I feel as young as ever on the inside.”
Now I understand what she meant.

“In the creative process. Maintain your artistic tenacity and courage despite any criticism or disapproval, or influence of social prejudices or market pressures.”
~ The William Blake Tarot Cards.
Oldest son is busy these days. His time is valuable. Yet when he was a child I remember every December 1st was the day that we put up holiday decorations. It was an event of thrill and joy. Now he has only a short time to talk and off he goes. I would not have it any other way. My twenties were very busy as well !
We are now living in an age of hostile takeover by a very conservative group of powerful people. I think of the 1920s throughout the 1930s. Prohibition, gangsters and the great wall street crash of 1929.
The shadow is let loose… release the Kraken.
