Patriotism is the devoted love, support, and defense of one’s country; national loyalty.

Devoted love for one’s country is a strange bed fellow. Defense of one’s country is very expensive but support seems a reasonable relationship to have with one’s country.

Here we go again it is about We The People. Hello, hello are you there ?

Governments are people and I support them as I would anyone that has my best interest. Yet in most cases this is not true as well as with all governments. We all know that governments are designed to govern the people. We have so many parts to our government that it is overwhelming. Then there are the secret governments that do things behind We The People’s back.

If we engage in war are we actually defending our country? How can we be loyal to the love of this country if in one instance our President gives Americans health care and then strikes another country with weapons of mass destruction?

In ancient times church and government were not separate. Now we live in a time when business and government are not separate. This is a hardcore relationship. Their god is called economy and it is about the greedy individual instead of the devoted love, support, and defense of one’s country.

We call them corporations and they all have a separate legal entity, but with this entity there is no justice or universality. The only call is the patriotic call of the mighty dollar, and this pans out to debt, slavery and no accountability.

No I am not patriotic. I am a nature politician and hold the earth, this continent and all that live here in my hopeful heart. I am waiting for the time when “society begins to act” because “it is not enough for a man to depend simply upon himself.” [or money].

I realize this may be a whisper in my heart until the day I die!!
