Electric Honey: The Heart is more than a muscle that pumps blood.

“What exactly is a computer chip?

A computer chip is a packaged set of electronic circuits printed onto a thin, circular wafer made of the element silicon, one of the most abundant elements in the earth’s crust. These electronic circuits work with the help of transistors, which serve as tiny switches that turn an electrical current on or off. These operations are the basis for all modern computing.”

“What are the 7 functions of the heart? The heart plays the following roles in the human body:

Pumping oxygenated blood into other body parts. Circulating hormones and other essential substances to different parts of the body. Receiving oxygen-poor blood and pumping it into the lungs for oxygenation, transporting waste products from the body. Maintaining blood pressure.”

“Frankenstein’s Monster:

By degrees I made a discovery of still greater moment. I found that these people possessed a method of communicating their experience and feelings to one another by articulate sounds. I perceived that the words they spoke sometimes produced pleasure or pain, smiles or sadness, in the minds and countenances of the hearers. This was indeed a godlike science, and I ardently desired to become acquainted with it.”

 ~ Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley, Frankenstein

I remember one rainy night when a storm was brewing overhead. My computer was turned off, yet the room lit up as thunder broke close to our car. I stood in the dark room at that moment and witnessed my computer turn on without a password. I saw my husband’s yahoo emails open up and I saw much more before my gaze. I walked over and pulled the plug. It went dark as the room and the storm rumpled past us.

Was it only a surge of electricity that ran through my computer that night? Electricity animates many things and gives life.

“It’s not the love you make. It’s the love you give.” ~ Nikola Tesla

I am studying the astrological effects that Pluto in Aquarius will have on humanity and the world. I read a lot about the underworld, technology, transformation and even the word rebellion.

I think back upon Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley’s Novel, Frankenstein. I realize the same old idea has haunted me from the get-go. Who’s soul did Frankenstein’s monster have?

A computer chip, a human heart all needs energy or electricity for life. Be it in a story or on the computer I am using now or my heart that is beating.

I remember a dream I had years ago, and I learned in my dream that Pluto Loves Persephone.

All this foresight, astrology and science and I find the word “Love” lacking.

As though electricity flowing through everything is incapable of love?

Maybe we are approaching a time when we see that love is electricity. If we become aware of it as it is flowing into our unconscious and shadowy places, and into those endlessly created computer chips.

I have solved my mystery. The Modern Prometheus is a higher level of love and if electrify is fast, it is also explosive, it is also hot and gives of itself freely.

As the dear Monster observed,

“The electrical stimulus travels down through the conduction pathways and causes the heart’s ventricles to contract and pump out blood. The 2 upper chambers of the heart (atria) are stimulated first and contract for a short period of time before the 2 lower chambers of the heart (ventricles).”

Intellect is so valuable but now comes the time of the heart brain.

I am observing bees outside my window and see that in a way they live the perfect life. They work and collect nectar. They transform it into form and home and community. They can change their sex if need be. This is the best symbol of electricity based on love.

Still the individual bees are important. Still the soul, spirit and psyche are there. To learn and grow.

“Dionysos…deep amethyst, crimson and wine-dark red, emerald and lapis…lavish velvets and brocades, the rich fur of a wildcat and the delicate warmth of the flower’s petal…He is the sap that bleeds from the tree and the golden viscosity of the gift of the mother bees—honey.”

Louisa and Nikola Day Dreams

Summer heat and air conditioning with a waxing gibbous on the rise. Oh Luna be nice because Mercury goes retrograde today and here comes the weighted memories of youthful days.

“If your hate could be turned into electricity, it would light up the whole world.”

~ Nikola Tesla

Below the art-loft, where I lived was Ames Book store. The books were good and cheap.  One summer I read two biographies that were beholden to me; Louisa May Alcott and Nikola Tesla. It was an yin/yang experience. One of our most famous woman authors and one of our greatest scientists. Their lives crossed in the 19th century but Louisa died in 1888 while Nikola crossed over into the 20th century. She was twenty-four when he was born. I often thought that they would have been perfect for each other because both held a great sensitivity and imagination for life which enfolded everything they did. They both had a deep knowing of the most profound simplicity of life while also endearing the world with their wisdom,. At 25 they both opened my eyes to new ways of viewing my world.

For A Pigeon, Nikola Tesla

“There are but two roads that lead to an important goal and to the doing of wonderful things: strength and perseverance. Strength is the lot of but a few privileged men; but austere perseverance, harsh and continuous, may be employed by the smallest of us and rarely fails of its purpose, for its silent power grows irresistibly greater with time.”     ― Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Faust: First Part

Since reading his biography years ago, Nikola Tesla means more to me than the alternating currents that his insight, intuition, and imagination brought to humanity. He had a strange kind of ambition that was not based on personal gain or money.

He felt the true need to help humanity. I see him as a glimpse into our human future, if it is not too late, where humanity can work tighter together with nature creating with his kind of passion; To create incredible things based on insight, intuition, and imagination.

Tesla’s mother was also a creative person like her son; his father was a Serbian orthodox priest. He grew up in the village of Smiljan, Austrian Empire.

He grew up close to nature where clear streams and a nearby mountain broke out with electrical storms, both teaching Nikola about the flow of nature. The manifestation of all that is; is part of us, nature, and the cosmos. Nikola memorized Goethe’s Faust forward and backwards. He used quotes from Faust as a form of meditation to block out the sometimes-overwhelming sensitivity he had to the noises of life.

“Everything transitory is but an image.” ~ Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Faust: First Part

With all that Tesla had to offer humanity he fell short of his dreams due to the lack of understanding in the times when he was born. Racing forward to create via the means of power and money was not Tesla’s dream.

He died a lonely man if not for a pigeon. The point being is he did what he did for love. He worked by and for it. He broke both legs. Symbolically he did this for us and the earth.

Tesla’s strange and mysterious life is based on integrity. If I have learned anything from this great man, I have learned this, and I base my life on it; everything I do is based on love, integrity and not power or money.

To create something based on love is like giving birth to a child. It is insight, intuition and imagination manifested and it is intrinsically physical too.

Having this as a basis for life one cannot walk the ambitious path only trying to get somewhere for fame or fortune. Instead, one might be asking why and for what? It is not what Tesla has left us more valuable as the why and for what?

Does he not answer that for us? The importance of living life and what may be in the way?

This is a riddle that Nikola has helped me solve! It may not be profitable, glorious, or popular, but walking the motif of love based on insight, intuition, and imagination…makes the breaking of legs all worthwhile in the difficulties of life.

A flower in my hand picture taken by my mother… RIP.
