Is there a healthy NUT in the house??

“We are trapped in a crazy maze of statistics, power and money. We are their BIG COWS to milk.”

So he bugged me with this sketch and told me,

“…that the world needed to understand his manifesto of change. HOw to break up this monster! He said A little at a time.”

“Industrial processed, fast, and junk food is addictive. Processed food full of sugar, fat, and salt is neurochemically, biologically addictive in the same way cocaine, heroin, nicotine and caffeine are addictive, and it increases food and calorie consumption and obesity as a result.

Big Farming’s influence over the global increase in obesity. Agricultural practices and government subsidies promote the growing of cheap corn and soy which is turned into the sugar, fat, and processed food that drives disease and fosters the spread of this cheap, calorie-dense, nutrient-poor food across the globe.

Unethical, manipulative food marketing that drives eating habits. There is very little government control over Big Food’s marketing practices which shape behavior in insidious ways, especially in children.

Poverty’s relationship to obesity and disease. Poverty promotes obesity, diabetes, and chronic disease because processed food is cheap while being high in calories and low in nutrients.

The destruction of the family kitchen and home cooked meals. The family meal, and family and local food culture, has been replaced with convenience or fast foods. This has led to a generation of Americans who can’t recognize any vegetable or fruit in its original form and can’t cook except in a microwave.

Obesity is contagious. You are more likely to be obese if you have fat friends, than if you have fat relatives. Social norms promote weight gain.

Environmental toxins [7]. These contribute to weight gain, obesity, and diabetes. Not only do we have to worry about what we eat, but also the burden of plastics, metals, and pollutants which have been shown to poison and slow our metabolism leading to weight gain.

Important initiatives have been created by the Obama administration within the health care bill and Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move program that mark a beginning of a shift that needs to happen in our food climate, but to really change our obesogenic environment we need to create healthier default choices for citizens. We must focus on specific actions we can take personally and politically to alter our food landscape.”

Baubo Protagonist

Baubo (Greek: Βαυβώ) is an old woman in Greek mythology who jested with Demeter, when Demeter was mourning the loss of her daughter, Persephone. She is also known as Iambe.

Set is the son of Geb, the Earth, and Nut, the Sky; his siblings are Osiris, Isis, and Nephthys. He married Nephthys and fathered Anubis and in some accounts, he had relationships with the foreign goddesses Anat and Astarte. From these relationships is said to be born a crocodile deity called Maga.

Venus

350px-aphrodite_anadyomene_from_pompeii_cropped

It seems contrary that Venus goes retrograde
As Spring vividly approaches!
The underworld is spilling upwards
I’ve noticed shadows and illness
Addiction, handicaps, and depression.
My heart is hurt and overwhelmed. Man at the parking lot asking for money
Young man in a wheelchair
As parents push him through the supermarket
his eyes deep in a world of despair. I hold on to the pain as it washes over me with tears
Helpless tears of acknowledgment and power
As we walk through these dark times
To acknowledge it all with observing hearts
That hear and feel! We help by our vibrations of
compassion, empathy and caring.
A silent prayer of hope,
So, the wounded can find a gentle joy
That pleasure brings
upon their vivid blood-red hearts. She knows and she descends to us
the gift of her sweetness
for all times. Walking with those that hold the lanterns
In the dark descending spiral into the underworld.
Light that eliminates the darkness
By acknowledgment, letting go. As hearts grow in applied ways
This is our wisdom.
A balm for our world…
Breast bending up
Chest falling down
And love will be found there too.

hope is brightest

“The rose is fairest when ‘t is budding new,

And hope is brightest when it dawns from fears;

The rose is sweetest washed with morning dew

And love is loveliest when embalmed in tears.”

― Walter Scott, Lady of the Lake

lady-of-the-lake
Illustration for Lady of the Lake, Richard Westall British | 1765 – 1836

Last night’s dream set me on a journey of murder and fear. I left my car’s break off and it flew down the hill knocking down people, places, and things.

Yet, somehow, I ended up in a cave / loft underground looking up on a reflection of Our Lady of Guadalupe. There were five or six of us looking up, out of the loft.

A wood ladder hung upon the opening and straw was all around. I started to hum a song.

I did some research and found out that this song has an interesting history separate from Latin or the Catholic Church.

Franz Schubert Opus 52, 7 songs set to Walter Scott’s epic poem Lady of the Lake. (1825)

“My hope, my heaven, my trust must be,

My gentle guide, in following thee.”

― Walter Scott, The Lady of the Lake

Original text for Ellens dritter Gesang III is Scott/Stork Text before Lain text “Catholic Ave Maria” (Hail Mary).

Ellen’s Third Song

“Hymn to the Virgin” by Sir Walter Scott

Listen to a maiden’s prayer!

Thou canst hear though from the wild;

Thou canst save amid despair.

Safe may we sleep beneath thy care,

Though banish’d, outcast and reviled –

Maiden! hear a maiden’s prayer;

Mother, hear a suppliant child!

Ave Maria! Ave Maria! undefiled!

The flinty couch we now must share

Shall seem with down of eider piled,

If thy protection hover there.

The murky cavern’s heavy air

Shall breathe of balm if thou hast smiled.

Then, Maiden! hear a maiden’s prayer,

Mother, list a suppliant child!

Ave Maria!

Ave Maria! stainless styled.

Foul demons of the earth and air,

From this their wonted haunt exiled,

Shall flee before thy presence fair.

We bow us to our lot of care,

Beneath thy guidance reconciled.

Hear for a maid a maiden’s prayer,

And for a father hear a child!

Ave Maria!

a rich character

Headaches, no sleep and a palpitating heart with rain and thunder and the dark of an endless night. Today the wind makes sounds ancient and whispering as the Celtic Bards of long ago.

He has a rich character, our dear Joseph Campbell. His insights into myth, history, art, religion, and our unconscious are telling us such old stories. A book that is a necessity for every person to read is Goddesses, Mysteries of the Feminine Divine

For anyone who wants to know where they came from and solutions to the problems of our current modern times. I recommend this book. But be careful and beware, this book is not a fairy-tale ride at Disneyland.

It is deeper than our DNA contained in a place beyond time. As above so below, this knowledge is mystical and enchanting.  Which is to say between life and death. It moves one into another place beyond time as the Celtic Bards did. Stories are real and part of all our history. A lovely escort to any study of art, history, science, psychology, philosophy, sociology, and religion!

“When Dante was going through the stages of hell, the first and least horrendous was that of the carnal lovers. Among them were Tristan and Iseult and Lancelot and Guinevere, all the great lovers of all time. And he recognizes one couple, Paolo, and Francesca, and like a good sociologist he called Francesca down and asks,

“How did you get into this condition?”

In the most poignant line in the whole poem [The Divine Comedy], she answers,

“We were reading the book of Guinevere and Lancelot. And when we came to the meeting of the eyes, we looked at each other and read no more in the book that day.”

There they are in what looks like hell to us but the wonderful wise miracle man, William Blake, said in his book of aphorisms, The Marriage of Heaven and Hell,

“I was walking among the fires of hell, delighted with the enjoyment of Genius, which to Angels look like torments and insanity.”

I think that’s the answer. So, what Tristan accepted was the fire of this agony that is love for eternity, and that will be his life in eternity. “

~Pg. 245 Goddesses, Mysteries of the Feminine Divine, Joseph Campbell.

I and Thou..

by Hudley 2/9/2017

“There is a time coming when a woman’s voice won’t have to be disguised in a man’s garment. Nor will men ever disguise themselves in women’s garments. There is such a thing as a human garment. That garment is the inner marriage. The unlived life of men and women will become the source of life when consciousness liberates us from patriarchal power.”

“…When life is passing in the night, in the rushing night
A man, a woman in the night, in the lonely night
Must take a chance that in the light, in tomorrow’s light
They’ll be together, so much in love
Together, so much in love…”

Now has come the smell of anticipation to create…after the pain of loss.

“What is actually new in these interactions is the introduction of the financial aspect; if desired, the user has the possibility to monetize his expertise. Although, we can always share our experience for free, giving users the opportunity to have some financial compensation may enhance the potential of interactions by providing them credibility, recognizing their value and establishing a relationship of equals between the parties. Some people may well feel more at ease if, to complete their project, they have the possibility to ‘buy’ someone else’s know-how.”

After my stuff was destroyed by punks at a San Fernando Valley show, I felt threatened, but I moved on. My journals are now in paperback format for online sale. Problem solved. Published in 2019.

my opus magnum

It is ironic. My jewel, my opus magnum,  and creations destroyed by the very same scene that gave me a voice. The punk scene gave me a voice. I self-taught myself or created myself in this void of rebellion.

A new world. The ideologies, punk community where we helped each other.

We confront the status quo and want to change things. My memories are something I share. It took me a long time but, a validation from financial gain is a necessity for the value of one’s art. What makes it valuable is relative.

Time, attempt, joy, bliss, and humor. A joining in. I joined the community of the history of punk now. I took a vow in Jung’s terms.

I am confronted with violence, destruction, and hate. What is my psyche doing now?

How is Cosmos responding to this? The fire of destruction. The depth of despair. The wheel of talk becomes tiresome to others.

Pity, maybe.

Hope, lost.

The band plays on…

I smell nothing today.

But the recurrence of something I cannot change.

I move forward as a phoenix.

new possibilities new awareness

leaving the gutter behind me!

In “Journal Number Four,” the author dedicates the issue to the tape recorder used at Los Angeles Flipside Fanzine. The cover features a favorite photo of the early punk scene, showcasing the Canadian band Subhumans and the Samoans, along with notable figures like Greg Turner, Metal Mike, Wimpy, Hud, Gary, and Jim. The author is seen holding the Flipside tape recorder, with the photo taken by Al Flipside.

Now the new cover for Flipside Fanzine # 54 Ten Year Anniversary Issue. A paperback replica of the original issue. Published by The Seminary of Praying Mantis Publishing/ Hudley Flipside (2019)

All four journals are now for sale as one paperback memoir…

Wild Card: The Trump Cards

Trump’s AI image of his lover in tight blue jeans has caused quite a stir, sparking conversations and debates across social media platforms.

The striking depiction not only highlights an unconventional blend of modern technology and personal life but also raises questions about the appropriateness of using AI to generate intimate representations.

Many have praised the artistry involved, noting the impressive attention to detail that captures the essence of his partner, while others have expressed concern over privacy and representation in the digital age.

As the image circulates, it is clear that such portrayals have the power to ignite both admiration and controversy in today’s fast-paced media landscape.

note to the reader: This is not an AI image… but what the hell

The Disk or the many Women Who Marched.

The Women’s March was a worldwide protest on January 21, 2017, the day after the inauguration of Donald Trump as US president. It was prompted by Trump’s policy positions and rhetoric, which were considered misogynistic and represented a threat to the rights of women. It was at the time the largest single-day protest in U.S. history. The goal of the annual marches is to advocate legislation and policies regarding human rights and other issues, including women’s rightsimmigration reform, healthcare reform, disability justicereproductive rightsthe environmentLGBTQ rightsracial equalityfreedom of religion, workers’ rights and tolerance. According to organizers, the goal was to “send a bold message to our new administration on their first day in office, and to the world that women’s rights are human rights.”

Trump in his vindictive revenge crafted the opportunity for a conservative Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade.

I wrote this January 2017. This March was filled with foresight for our future. Now again women are signed up to vote. More than history has every known. It is up to us.

Never in our history has there been a bigger March… a nonviolent one. I am so grateful that it happened and I hope it will change our future … we know we must vote.

For Justice, humanity, our rights, ecology, equality… all the good things for all of us, not just a few of us.

Not ignore the clear hate, violence, injustice, corruption or racism or sexism.

The sun a disk of light. The flowers of purple nectar. My mind reflects. I am here. Yet, I am also with the women marching today…

Flower Pussy Power… watercolor by Hudley

Today was the Women’s March

Many cities and even in Washington DC

They are marching …

I felt connected to it all.

Yet today we cleaned the gutters,

As husband was on the roof

With a long powerful hose,

I waited to clean.

the dark

Mud leaves and earthy smelling mire-slush.

As I waited,

I investigated the pool.

Clean and blue

I saw the sun.

A round perfect sun.

Bright and surrounded.

By clouds

as many cauliflowers

And I thought…

“How lovely and bright the sun is, will it hurt my eyes to stare so long?”

I kept looking into the pool.

Watching the sun.

A reflection in a clean pool.

A raven flew between us,

The whole reflection and my single view of the sun.

Droplets from the power hose

Rippled in the pool water.

I looked away…

A hummingbird stopped in front of me,

Long enough to see a red beating breast.

Then was gone.

I gazed at the sun.

The grey clouds

The ripples in the clean pool.

I also thought upon the women’s march…

Earlier, I was in front of my home.

I studied falling rosemary.

Exploding with fresh, delicate purple flowers.

The rain also brought many marching honeybees.

The sun is a disk of light. The flowers of purple nectar.

My mind reflects. I am here.

Yet, I am also with the women marching today.

Many cities and even in Washington DC

They marched…

The key

~ Tim Lyons

Marching down memory lane. I have mentioned this stencil before. I was inspired by a book by Tim Lyons about generational astrology.  What really rang true for me was his knowledge of Chiron. At the time I was living in a little apartment with my family in Van Nuys California.

I had to do something to express my excitement. So I created a stencil on available cardboard with my trusty X-Acto knife (that I still have ). This image is the last I have of Chiron.

I lost the stencil. It does not matter if you view this image from the perspective of mythology, astrology, or depth psychology, it is a key that I found to healing and regeneration. I love Chiron.

The key is Chiron

In the film 20th Century Women …women are at the table.

I saw the film 20th Century Women last week. It felt like it did when I use to go see bands from the east coast or from overseas. Anticipation filled me.

My two sons came with me. We went to the Arclight Theater near Sunset in Hollywood. The films first day of its release in California.

I talked to a few ladies as they left the theater after seeing the film. They had happy looks on their faces. Profound words filled my ears as I listened to the closing credits buzzing the Buzzcocks lyrics in my ears.

I was not sure if my two sons, who are 16 and 25 would like the film. After seeing it we had a great talk while driving back to the San Fernando Valley. Oldest son reflected on how the film’s director and writer, Mike Mills, answered some questions for him about a few things. About women in general.

This film takes us to a merging of generations. Mike Mills takes this film to a higher place than the usual action films my son goes to see. He compared his film to the film Whiplash. He says both films have quality.

They may not be big media monsters, yet they have something real to say about life that has value. It speaks about real life at a different level.

The archetype that came forth for me in 20th Century Women is the Baubo myth. Currently in our wondrous American culture, I feel that women have been assaulted consciously and unconsciously. Current politics in this country are trying to take a woman’s voice away from the table.

They are talking that taboo talk too. That Demeter, Persephone and Baubo talk from those ancient Eleusinian mysteries. Is it feminism or something more? It is defiantly an ancient archetype where women are sitting at the table.

The women in this film are finding their power in the world. As if a giant ancient powerful beautiful flower opens to us who are watching this film. Baubo is not ashamed to show her private parts.

This film is about so much more too. It is about a mother and her son, friendship and growing up. It also reflects on how men and women can be friends and share in that ideal called equality. They can learn from each other! Hopefully finding this needed equality.

There are images of Maxfield Parrish Paintings, and Jean Nate Bottles in this film that are delightful to catch. Mike Mills is taking it to the next level. I hope we are all listening too. I know that the simple things in life can hold the profoundest mysteries. Yet, this is not a simple film. Either is the experience we call life. Life is a tragedy, drama, and comedy all at the same time, with punk rock as a side kick.

Continuously she pours into the cup.

The cats are hogging in front of the monitor. I look out the crack of my window. There are the waxing gibbous moon and Venus. Venus and her holy grail. What is she pouring in her bright light tonight?

Some of the houses have lost their Christmas glow. Not ours. We still have the spiraling light moving around the front door. I still wonder what Venus is pouring in her bright cup tonight?

A very quiet night tonight. Maybe I will attend and old buddies music show? Maybe I will watch a film. I already took a walk. Shall I eat the seasoned sweet potatoes with honey,  olive oil and hot sauce? Venus can I see what you are pouring into the crescent moon this evening ?

I started out indifferent this morning. Why can’t I feel anything about this new year? Now I feel something in my belly. It is starting to grow. A slow swing ride.  Excitement and hope, shall I create some art with my hope and excitement? Where are my water colors, ink, erasers and pencil. Cats, please get out of my way, I can not see what I am typing. How many others are wondering about Venus and the Moon tonight?  How gracefully she holds her grail this night. What magic does Venus pour?

Hologram Underwater

“I don’t remember the car driving like this before?

picture-53

You look at him sideways with one eye and he is looking back at you.

Then you find yourself walking out a door into a mansion.

Donald Trump is having a party where everyone there is wheeling and dealing. Yet, you sit down in front of Donald, and he sells you that 1961 Aston Martin for $2,000.

At this same time, you realize that his desk is unorganized as he reaches for papers and a pen, but nothing is where he can find it. Regardless, his manner is sweet, and he holds calm etiquette.

img_9599_1

This does not explain the deep feelings, longings, humor and forgetfulness of your oscillating mind. As when you get out of the Aston Martin and realize that it was falling apart and there is steam coming out of every end. The bumpers are demolished. The car looks like an accordion.

When a man comes up to you and calmly states,

“They don’t make them like that anymore!”

    “You think..?”

“Well, maybe I should have had a car mechanic look at it first before I bought it from Donald?”

Then you notice seeing Tequila Mockingbird, Alice Braun and Pleasant Gehman sitting on a balcony over a large parking lot of fresh fallen snow. At this moment you ask them a strange question, as you float by,

“…If you could go back to 1979 all over again, would you?”

Two said yes, the other no.

All of a sudden you find you are in a monorail. A special ride. This monorail turns and rides into the ocean. Like a big giant snake, it goes diving down into the water, then up again, then down again. It becomes something else.

YOU are now in a hologram underwater in a transparent submarine. You feel calm. A big fish swims up to you and you realize it is the fish cartoon you created, with pencil and ink, months ago, it says

“Hi, how are you?”

Then there are the day dreams…

th-10

While staring outside into your garden, you notice large monoliths coming down from the sky. About six feet tall and about 4 feet wide. Perfect and triangular.

Black as the night without a moon. If you look long enough into these black onyx shapes, stars shine forth from the deep darkness they possess.

They are firm silent statues in your garden. You notice the seven monoliths all day and so do the cats. Yet, no one else does. Slowly they move into the earth until they are covered and gone.

Or looking out of the computer window in a trance, where in your daydream begins hearing loud sirens screaming, like the ones in golden ancient myths.

You also hear church bells ringing and the sounds are coming closer. You felt calm but now you are feeling heart palpitations. You notice monks in black robes with white braided cords around their waists.

They are walking down your street. They are ringing large bells in their hands while screaming siren screams. The wind is blowing, and the sound of truck engines melt past you. You notice their large loud mouths open as they parade past your house. What are they heralding or why have they come?

On Vanowen Street

This morning I was on my own. I was early to my destination, so I stopped by a local 7/11 for coffee. It had been five years since entering this store. I also needed to break a twenty-dollar bill that has been in my wallet for a few weeks. While walking back to my car I put two fives in my purse for the event I was soon planning to attend. I held on to the rest. I looked up from my car and saw a black man with a trash bag and a smile.

His hand held open and out to me. I smiled back and walked up to him and asked,

 “Is this what you need?”

I gave him some money. He lightly hugged me and kissed my head with a blessing. I smelled the street on him but felt his gentle humanness.

“Are you going to church,” he asked.

“No, an artist is speaking at a local synagogue on creation stories.”

At that moment, a white man in his late sixties yelled something. I looked around at him and assumed that he and the man, I was talking to, were friends. The light changed to a darkness. My heart went from cheerfulness to a confrontation unwanted. This man was saying some strange things to me.

“Did you know that man is a convicted felon. He has a record. I am glad I am here to save you from him!”

This new man’s conduct shocked me. He was rude, aggressive and was insulting this heartfelt, other man. The black man slowly disappeared as a soft breeze. It seemed to me that he was not about to confront or cause any trouble. Yet the white man continued to slowly insult me. He approached me. I told him to step back.

“I am not interested in what you have to say, because you have no evidence that this man has a record. You have no evidence he is a convicted felon.”

“But we have been watching him, the Valley is not what it once was!”

“Who are the “we” you are referring to?

This man did not have an answer. His tongue turned to a mouth of bigotry, hate and slander. He affirmed to me he voted for Trump. I guess he saw my Bernie for President bumper sticker. Was this giving him a justification to verbally attack me?

Today the eyes of heartlessness and political darkness did not recognize the kind hand of humanity. Here in the San Fernando Valley on Vanowen Street.

A few moments later I was in a beautiful synagogue. The irritating confrontation faded. Instead, art, creation stories and depth mythologies enlivened my soul once more.

I learned about an artist today. His name is Mikalojus Konstantinas Ciurlionis.

A bowing to my hidden psyche, and a bowing back to the child of the cosmos!

We will be OK!!

At the most troubling times strange things happen. I knew a flip was on the way. I felt it! The super moon affirms it. Yet, the continuity and mathematical perfection of the dance of the earth and the moon, do leave a way to contingency. Made hopeful, I was reminded of this today.

Times like these I turn to poets, philosophy, and depth psychology. A mental triangular thought of three words guided me. The last few weeks causality, teleology and synchronicity moved me.

I try to remember the powers of these principles as meaning something special in my life, and as I see the possibilities, as special happenings, in the lives of others.

Today while giving blood to the vampires at Kaiser, my eyes fell upon a father and his son. He had his, under a year, child spread out ready for a fast diaper change. I said,

“How lucky you are!”

He smiled and tickled the belly of his son.

The child was looking in the opposite direction. I spoke.

“Hello there.”

The child turned to me with a big smile. A hello that would make the whole world rejoice. No teeth and giggling with the power of the cosmos glowing in his being.

I was deeply touched by this.

“Oh, how lovely. You have made my day… thank you!”

As I walked away from the hospital, feeling the weight of the day press heavily on my shoulders, I knew that the principle of contingency zeroed in on me in a cosmic moment. The air felt charged with uncertainty, whispering in my ears all the possibilities that lay ahead, each one a fork in the road of my life, and I could almost sense the threads of fate weaving around me. Each step took me further from the sterile walls of the hospital, yet closer to an awakening within myself, a realization that life was defined not just by the moments we plan for, but by those unexpected twists that shape our very existence.

It was great… DRAMATIC READINGS

Last night I went to a local event at the Commons in Calabasas, where I had the pleasure of immersing myself in the vibrant atmosphere filled with community members and fellow enthusiasts. The event was presented at a Barnes & Noble in the San Fernando Valley, a beloved hub for book lovers, creating a cozy yet engaging setting. I enjoyed browsing through the eclectic selection of books on display and connecting with others who shared my passion for literature. The evening not only provided an opportunity to discover new titles but also fostered a sense of camaraderie among attendees, making it a memorable night in our local community.

What a wondrous event.  It was fun. It was local and I won the costume contest. (I was the only one wearing one too) I was not expecting it nor had it entered my mind to win. I was just being myself as I always am….

A happy night for us… a random thing to do with my son before Halloween… I am so glad we went. To hear dramatic readings of Edgar Allan Poe was a live treat!

I don’t travel far these days to go to shows. I feel the need to support my local community. For years I have supported a wide range of events a far. Now I tend to enjoy my hometown very near.

Happy Halloween

The film “20th Century Women”

A little spark of truth…

and more punk history It was a day of closure and new beginnings. I leased one picture I took around thirty-seven years ago. It is now part of a film that is coming out soon. In the scheme of things, it is a small thing regarding this film.

It is a piece of the puzzle that screams loudly of integrity. I have been treated particularly good throughout the process. I got paid for it. (It is a pic of original line up of Black Flag after they broke up, but Keith is singing anyway at the Church) When American Hardcore came out I was overwhelmed by how the punk scene was presented. I did not like it. I saw my same picture in both the film and book. I even confronted the situation.

I said, “… that writers and journalists need to research their work and consider original source.”  My words were ignored. Regretfully, I let it go. I am treated better by the film industry than my own punk community over this.

And that is a fact. Yet, I hold no grudges or bad feelings. I just walked around the problem and solved it my own way. The film “20th Century Women” will have an image folded in its creation that rings truth. From what I have viewed online, I am interested in this film because the film is set during 1979. (When my picture was taken)

Also, I am a woman of this generation. The film is based on a mother and her 15-year-old son. I have a 15-year-old son now. Interestingly, the film includes the early punk scene which is why the photograph is placed in the film. Nice synchronicity of goodness and better feelings! Everything happens for a reason. I’ve learned that integrity must be earned. It takes time and it is resilient! This image will only be viewed in the blink of an eye.

That is OK by me. I will be on the ending credits for a picture I took at a unique time & place in punk rock history, and it was originally published in Los Angeles Flipside Fanzine. Something to inspire my boys!!!! There are many stories from the big punk rock….

This is just one of them via Flipside Fanzine and me, and from a long time ago little punk chick named “HUD” ~Hudley! A brave little girl you were, you were!

Mr. Fuck on a yellow submarine… All due respect to Peter Max ❤️

The yellow submarine in that piece almost feels like:

  • the body carrying you through strange waters
  • while the wild punk psyche keeps drawing on the walls inside it

Very 1968 meets LA Flipside survival mythology. And now the year 2026!
